Honoring a Father’s Legacy Through “100 Things Left Behind”

100 Days is an annual project at New York City’s School of Visual Arts that was founded by Michael Bierut. Each year, the students of the school’s Master’s in Branding Program spend 100 days documenting their process with a chosen creative endeavor. This year, we’re showcasing each student in the program by providing a peek into ten days of their project. You can keep an eye on everyone’s work on our SVA 100 Days page.

What will we leave behind when we pass? And can we grow closer to those we’ve lost through these items?

Through his 100 Days project, Connor Gravelle honors the memory of his late father, Peter Gravelle, and seeks to explore these two questions. Over the course of 100 days, he will post 100 objects that have been left behind by his father as a means of understanding him and growing close to his memory.
